Phillip Angelo - Month 1 - Blog Banner

I’m Philip Vitale, the proud owner of Phillip Angelo Photography. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

One of my first memories as a child is trying to capture the world around me with a simple pencil and paper. Driven by my appreciation for beauty and the arts throughout school, I painted, sculpted, played music, discovered Rembrandt and the Dutch masters, and, most importantly, found photography. I joined the photography club and experimented with my fascination for light and shadows through my 35mm film camera and darkroom practices. By the time senior year came around, I had achieved the position as the lead photographer for the school newspaper. In college, being forced to choose, I acquired a degree in music theory and composition, but I never lost my love for photography.

Even after graduating and completing my music education, my fascination with nature, surroundings, and light drew me back to my true passion. It led me to seek further knowledge and education as a practicing photographer and member of the Professional Photographers of America.

In early 2012 I started Phillip Angelo Photography serving many local organizations in the Millville, NJ, area while also concentrating on personal projects and private event photography. Since the initiation, my business grew leaps and bounds, as did my expertise and market share. 2020 has undoubtedly been a challenging year for me. However, I can still truthfully say that while I have been in many things in my life, from a professional musician to a sales manager, I have never had the satisfaction I get from photography.

In my practice, I strive to create an artistic image and transport my viewers through my vision. I enjoy my conversations with clients as they show me how best to capture their real personalities and see the best in people.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my commitment to friendship, honesty, and my desire to go the extra mile for the perfect shot. I believe in adding value to my services by taking the time to listen to you, understanding what you want out of the project, and then exceeding your expectations and delivering on every promise. I attribute my success to my drive and never say die attitude. I also make my services available to my community as I see an opportunity to assist a wide range of industries. For example, while with the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, I photographed other artists for promotional purposes and found serving other artists immensely satisfying.

When I am not at work, I spend a lot of time outdoors fishing with my K9 best buddy Cinnamon. She never fails to put a smile on my face and melt away any stress I may have. I also enjoy computer games and relaxing at home.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my photography expertise, I invite you to get in touch. I have worked with Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, The Youth Alliance of south Jersey, Paws for the Cause, The Ren Center For the Arts, and many Brides to capture their special moments. My work has also been published in Inside Jersey magazine, June 2016 release for N.J. Ambassadors for the Art of Glass Making. I offer portrait photography, product photography, promotional photography, and fine art photography.

I serve clients across South Jersey, including Atlantic County, Burlington County, Camden County, Cape May County, Cumberland County, Gloucester County, Salem County, and the surrounding areas. Please visit my website at www.phillipangelophotography.com for more information.

Sincerely

Philip
